Originally four confessionals existed on the sides in the transept.  Two on each side.  To comply with Vatican II, Two new confessionals were constructed near the rear entrances.  One "old" confessional on the North Side was removed and retrofitted as a "chapel" with a painting of St. Maximillian Kolbe.  See it here.
